Bohemian is my all time favorite style and thanks to Pinterest I get the endless amount of inspiration needed to add that touch of BoHo to my room. The warm colours, the natural vibe and the fact that anything goes is just some of the reasons I can't enough of this style. So today I wanted to show you guys how to add that simple warm touch of BoHo to any room. Grab you vintage mirrors, your long necklaces and handfuls of scarfs and your on you way to being a BoHo master. The thing about Bohemian is being yourself, being free and expressing what you love through colours, patterns and textures. Have a wide range of vintage pieces, different colours right down from pastel to deep red anything goes as long as you remember to balance the colours by keeping one block colour.
A really funky BoHo look is to pile a bunch of bangles on a glass plate or even as I have a candle holder. This adds that pop of colour and patterns associated with BoHo and also hey it does give you a better chance of finding the bracelet you want and remembering ones you long forgot.
One little craft I came across and instantly loved was this wind chime which is so simply made. A small log with no branch nobs on it drilled with little holes, for the chimes to hang is all you need along with one/two bamboo shoots cut into different lengths then embrace your inner BoHo chic and paint like the true artist you are. (Basically if it goes wrong you get to say you were going for a more rustic look, thats what Bohemians all about.)
Jewelry scattered on any surface brings your room alive with the BoHo aura. Some call it cluttered some call it art, but there is something about the sense of being at home when you see your little treasures on display throughout your room. Flea markets are a BoHo girls dream. The endless amount of little vintage trinkets you can pick up will bring you BoHo room alive. Have a scope around markets you will always find great bargins and also bits and pieces that can't be found anywhere else
Lastly the perfect touch for a Boho room is candles. The thing about getting a BoHo look with candles is to mix and match as many different candles and holders as you can in different colours, sizes and shapes. Nothing says being in the comfort of your own home then sitting down surrounded by glowing candles and I feel that is one thing about Bohemian style, it is homely.
